Editing

To some degree, every writer has to also be an editor of his or her own work. We are also often to fill the role of editor in addition to our role of writer. Here are some samples from editing projects I have undertaken in the past.

Comprehensive Edit

This was a comprehensive editing assignment from a class in my Certificate of Technical Writing and Editing. It involved several components, including a style analysis of the original draft and a style guide for the final document. I have also included the raw digital edits in Word's Tracked Changes.

Hardcopy Markup

As part of my Certificate Program we also revisited and learned the more formal markup symbols and strategies for marking up hardcopy documents. Here are some samples of some hardcopy markup.
